Save Saturday, July 25th for a full day of caching,
competition, challenges and fun!
This years event is unlike any Rally hosted by GBES. This time
around we are calling all Geocachers, with or without 4x4
capabilities!!!
Two member teams, three member, four member teams. Bring your kids,
bring your friends, bring whoever you can fit into your
cachemobile!! (some of the course will be driven on dirt roads, but
4 wheel drive is not a requirement). If you've always shyed away
from the Rally because the terrain was too difficult now is your
chance to join the fun!
Plan for a day full driving through some beautiful scenic areas
that Northern Nevada and California has to offer! You will have a
chance to score a load of new caches!
This years Rally will be a one day Rally. Entry fee is $40 per
team. $20 of which will pay for the Driver and Navigators meals at
the awards dinner. Additional meals are $10 each. We will award the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place scorers with trophies.
Afraid your team just can't compete against the hounds? Have no
fear! There will will also be an award for last place. The team
that couldn't quite get it together but still completed the course
and it's challenges in true geocaching spirit!
To log this event you will need to attend the Rally as a
participant, spectator or volunteer. The waypoint listed above is
the starting line. As with previous rallies, the Finish Line and
Awards banquet will be at various locations and will be listed on
this page as locations are confirmed.
Event Schedule: Saturday, July 25
8:00 AM - Check-In and Draw for Start Positions, Downloads
8:45 AM – Staging Begins
9:00 AM – First Car Leaves the Starting Line
5:00 PM – Cocktails at Awards Banquet
6:00 PM – Awards Banquet/Ceremony
